view- 4 tbsp chia seeds
- 1 cup water
- 1 ripe banana
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp cinnamon
- Mix ingredients in a blender and pulse into smooth puree. Set aside mixture to settle for 20 minutes or until mixture starts to gel.
- Spread the mixture on parchment paper, about 1/8 (3 mm) thick.
- Set in a dehydrator and dry at 145°F (63°C) for 6 hours, or until the mixture has a leathery consistency.
- Peel from parchment carefully and slice into cracker-sized pieces.
- Return pieces to the dehydrator and dry for another 6 hours, or until it becomes crispy.
