Ginger Powder | Commercial Dehydrators

The most effective way to add ginger flavor to your dishes is by making dry ginger powder at home. Dry ginger powder is more flavorful, aromatic and fresh as compared to store-bought one.

Ingredients
  • Fresh ginger roots

Instructions
  1. Wash ginger and peel off skin.
  2. Slice ginger into pieces, about 2 inches (5 cm) long.
  3. Place sliced pieces on dehydrator tray. Dehydrate at 105°F (41°C) for 2 to 4  hours or until ginger root is completely dry, hard and have no traces of  moisture.  
  4. Transfer ginger pieces to a blender and grind into smooth powder.
  5. Store powdered ginger in an air-tight container.
