view- Fresh ginger roots
- Wash ginger and peel off skin.
- Slice ginger into pieces, about 2 inches (5 cm) long.
- Place sliced pieces on dehydrator tray. Dehydrate at 105°F (41°C) for 2 to 4 hours or until ginger root is completely dry, hard and have no traces of moisture.
- Transfer ginger pieces to a blender and grind into smooth powder.
- Store powdered ginger in an air-tight container.
